22 week no comment blues

I laugh at myself that I wish people would comment more on this and my other blogs. It's silly. It's ego. I write to have my thoughts down. And yet the human part of me is a little bummed every time there are no comments. That whole balance beam between love and ego is slippery at times. At any rate, Sprout's at more than 22 weeks now and of the four babies of whom I learned about the time Ruth announced she was pregnant with Mira, one other was lost to miscarriage (before Mira), one is healthily and happily born, and the other two are due shortly. Life is what it is. More joy than sorrow at our house these days.

LOL...and I should comment..as I do love yours on my blog.

I was glad to find this blog of yours. I know my new Granddaughter is one of the expected you talk about. 2 more weeks. My heart broke when Mira was lost.
As Ruth progresses through this pregnancy I feel more joy each day. I cannot wait until the new babies are in your arms.

Thanks for commenting Sue. It does feel good to get comments. Exciting about all these new grandbabies coming - yours so soon. And yes, Ruth and Joanna are both healthy, with babies due in February and no problems to date. YOur grief, and that of others, at the time of Mira's death, was comforting, connecting. Thank you. And the shared joy in births is connected too.

I have the same feelings. I haven't been commenting much at all lately though.

You seem to comment a lot, and I know people talk about your blog. Maybe it's just that you're such a unique blog.

Both girls having February babies. Two little aquarians. They are very special. I can't wait to find out the sex.
Now we just have to get you into posting pictures.

I agree about the ego. But it is human. LOL. And I just wanted you to know that I do read this blog!

Thanks all of you for the comments - good to know you are reading. No more blues. I'm interested, Barb, to hear that people talk about my blog...I'd love to be on the inside of that loop. I was hoping when I hooked this blog up with Lost and Found that other moms of moms and women trying to be moms would start posting their blogs too - no such luck. At least yet.

I think you are just very far seeing and uniquely sensitive to have a wonderful blog like this SeaStar. :) I was hoping others would do it too and featured you on my blog. Other people commented to me that it was cool, but I never saw any others. It's great that you are doing this, and I know people get inspiration from it. Maybe I'll give you another shout out or something. :)

Barb, I read your blog, but didn't know you had featured me and my blog. Thank you! I must have missed that entry.
